The drawings show general assembly using various board lengths. Example, the drawing showing a panel height of 76 inches is accomplished by using a 70 inch board on a vertical installation. This board length is available in Mocha Walnut, Aspen Latte, GreenTeak, Chai Grey, 100% Aluminium 4’’ Boards & Dark Grey. This panel is known as a 6.5 foot high panel on contracts and customer order confirmations.
The drawing showing vertical installation with a panel height of 78 1/4 is accomplished by using 72’’ fence boards. This length of boards is only available in white and adobe colours. This panel is known as a 6.75 foot high panel on contracts and order confirmations.
The panel width for vertical installation is recommended to be equal to the height. Example : a 6 foot high panel would look optimal a 6’ spacing. The maximum spacing on a vertical fence is 98 3/4’’ center to center of posts - this is the most common spacing as it is the most economical. Installation with this method we result in a 35’ fence line being divided into 4 panels of 8’ wide and 1 panel of 3’. This installation method results in a less labor intensive project As opposed to dividing into even sections. The upcharge in Even sections Is between 10-20% extra material and labour costs.
